Transport between DC metro stations and Hagerstown, MD? |
Are there any transport options to travel from one of the DC metro stations to Hagerstown (MD) on a daily basis? I currently stay in Vienna (VA), but can travel to one of the MD metro stations. Moving to Hagerstown is not an option currently. I think you're not likely to find a bus other than the one you found, I don't think there are enough people traveling TO Hagerstown during the day to justify public transport The bus is it. Unless you can find carpool. Look on Craigslist Not sure if you tried this but you can also look for other buses. In MD i know there are a few diffrent types of buses...many of them are county buses, and while they might take metro cards/smart trip...they are diffrent from the metro buses. I would look on the maryland transit website as well as PG county transit (i think thats where Hagerstown is...maybe its Montgomery). Give it a shot! Hagerstown is past Frederick. it may be up in or near Washington County. Not too many public transportation options. The major thoroughfare is I-270. |
