What does DC/EVS, shipment accepted mean? |
Shipment Accepted* (12:32 pm today) I believe they are postal codes for Delivery Confirmation (not District of Columbia) for the time/date the parcel/mail arrives at its local USPS facility and then accepted at its destination. eVS mailers and shippers to have confirmation that a shipment has been received, these procedures would incorporate scanning a yet-to-be determined percentage of pieces in each Parcel Select destination entry mailing with the ``DC/eVS Arrive'' scan event.
