p.s im a girl....

You should bring sun screen - lots of sunscreen, a small backpack (although it will get search going in and out of the buildings), sun glasses, a hat, good sneakers/sandals (Birkenstock), etc. You might want to bring a camera.

If you are driving to DC, I would recommend bring water bottles. You can get dehydrated very easily in the heat. You might also want to bring some hard candy, snack bars, etc.

As for the Mall, we have a few ... I would imagine they are taking you to the National Mall (which is where the monuments are), but if not we also have Tyson's Corner - which is one of the largest shopping areas on the eastern seaboard.

You will also need money. Since you said a Red Sox game, I'm thinking you are from New England since our team is the Nationals. DC is about the same as Boston with the prices of food. It is expensive. I would bring some $$.

GOOD SUPPLIES??
DO YOU MEAN, SCHOOL SUPPLIES?
PERSONAL SUPPLIES? CLOTHES??

YOU NEED TO BE MORE SPECIFIC..

You only need money(alot of) because u will go shopping hihihi

Bring lots of money....If by big mall they meant Potomac Mills, its an outlet mall, so you'll want to do lots of spending
