Does anyone know where I could park my car inexpensively in D.C.? |
I am going on a trip for a few days in March and want to park my car hopefully near the airport. We are flying to Florida. I will not be staying in D.C. honestly? nowhere other than using one of the offsite Airport parking lots that will run about $7/day. I used to live in Arlington, VA near Reagan National Airport, and don't know of anywhere that you can leave your car safely for free (or cheap) for several days. However, if you stay far enough out in VA (i.e. near the beltway), your hotel will have free parking. Look for hotels near Falls Church or Tyson's Corner. If you pick a hotel near a Metro stop, you won't need your car -- nearly all major sights are accessible via Metro. Good luck! I agree with the previous answer, there might be cheap-er/safe-er parking by Dulles or BWI, but not so much near National Why don't you just leave your car at home and take public transportation to the airport? |
