What is the best time of year to go whale watching in the Vancouver, BC area?

I will be there in late March - early April. Will I be able to see some whales?

Big fish like whales usually go to warmer climates until they migrate back to cooler waters during the summer months. I doubt you'll see any big fish like whales.

whenever the B.C's are readily available

This link has a lot of info about whale watching in Vancouver:

well we have just booked a holiday to go there in july and we rang up and they said they get alot in june/july/august.

You may see some but possibly not as many

xx

No clue - but I will be in Vancouver around the same time and am sad to hear that the whales aren't going to be around =(

There aren't any whales in the Vancouver area! You have to go to more isolated places in BC to whale watch. The best time to see whales is usually in late summer.
