Why are White Christians/Atheists are treated so much better in the UAE than non-white Muslims?

If Islam teaches that all Muslims must treat each other as brothers and sisters, why is it that European (White) Christians and Atheists are treated so much better in the UAE than brown-skinned Muslims?

h, for once: this is the first time I disagree with you =)

h, I have witnessed bad Europeans a lot recently, especially the past year. They J walk on road. The European prostitutes have highly increased on road -its not that im looking, its that their everywhere-. The # of car accidents that include Europeans have highly increased. A lot of speeding and road violations too. The problem is that my country (government, municipality, police...) believes that the general westerners are automatically smart and that the other victim is guilty. I have witnessed it. It's really starting to turn disturbing. I don't know what's going on. Of course, we have the many (no stereotype meant) ignorance of the subcontinent that's stabbing in the heart everyday.

dear asker, discrimination is faced all over the world. its no different here. in the US, even if theyr both Christians of exact same specification: one is white and the other is black .. who'd they choose? you got that right.

Because the Emiratis believe that they can always send the Europeans off home any time they like, and that they do not pose a threat to the Arab nature of their country.

They do not trust the Pakistanis/Bangladeshis/Malayans not to turn the whole place into a colony of their own countries, and to try and take over culturally and perhaps politically.

They therefore have no intention of letting you get your feet too firmly 'under the table'

They generally dont go around blowing themselves or other innocent people up

Simply cause western people are afraid to break the laws in Muslim countries and keep low profile + u.a.e. is a peace full country and it's a luxury lifestyle for Europeans.

I treat people in respond how they treat me. I do not care about any nationality, skin colour or Religion.
If I hire a person I go by the qualification and personality. That's it.

I do not want to offend you or anybody else, but fact is, that the most rude people living here are "darkskinned" and therefore might not get the same kind of respect. That this group of people are mostly all Muslims, does not matter.

I do know that generalizing is wrong, please forgive.

But I never see an European spitting on the street standing by side me. This person mostly is darkskinned.

I also never had to deal with rude white European cab drivers. They are mostly darkskinned.

I never have seen Europeans gathering up and watch girls on the beach and taking pictures. These people mostly are darkskinned.

I have never seen Europeans blocking traffic because they have to watch an accident. These people are mostly darkskinned.

Why degree certificates now have to be verified? Because to many darkskinned people had faked ones circulating.

etc. etc. etc. This list could go on and on. That all these mentioned darksinned people mostly belong to the same nationality and are Muslims, well..........

I wish that these darkskinned brothers would treat me as a sister and not stare at me or doing some real nasty things while walking around in big groups on Fridays. Didn't Islam teach them how to behave?

To be fair I have to admit that salaries are getting paid by nationalities and that Europeans make better salaries than others.

But all this got nothing to do with Religion. Do you know:
a) how many Europeans are Muslims?
b) how many Emirates are darkskinned?

You better should have asked: if Islam teaches that we all treat each other as brothers and sisters, why are we killing each other? Why many of these darkskinned Muslims support terrorists?

Take care. Salam

no europeans = no tourism
no tourism = no money
no money = Dubai's economy crashes :)

Unfortunately it is true that the government takes europeans as a priority over the very low polulation of locals.

because we are white..and white is always better
