What is the rental charges for one bed room hall flat in Abu Dhabi?

I am moving to Abu Bhabi by next month. I had few questions and sollicit advice from you. My questions are as under:

1) What is the rental charges for one bed room hall flat with Kichen ( furnished accomodation) of minimum 600 sq feet area, in Abu Dhabi?

2) How much deposit the owner asks for and what is the lease peiod?

3) What is the approximate electricity bill, water charges, is the corporation water ok for consumption or bottled water is required?

4) What is the school admission fees, monthly fees, transportation charges for school of an Indian school like Delhi Public school for class VIII? When the school session starts? Up to which class , shall a student can study in Abu Dhabi?

5) Please give me the address, contact no of DPS School or any other school in Abu Dhabi.

6) What is the consultancy fees of a private general physician?

1) A one bedroom apartment will cost around Dhs 40,000 to 50,000 p.a. (unfurnished). Furnished ones are normally on monthly rent and the monthly rents will start at Dhs 5.000. Most furnished apartments you'll find with Hotel Apartments and are available for DHS 400 to 600 per day and will cost DHS 8,000 to 10,000 per month(on a long lease basis).

2)The lease period and deposit vary from landlord to landlord and can mostly be negotiated.

To find out more about Hotel apartments, please search the net.
If you are into sharing an apartment, what is very comon to do so for people over here, they following link gives you an idea:

3) Water and electricity are cheap in the UAE. How high your bill will be depends on how much you'll need. In Hotel Apartments these costs are included in the rent. Just calculate between Dhs 150 - Dhs 250 monthly. The corporation water is safe to drink but most people prefer to dring botled water also when it is not required. Water is cheap.

4) Here is the link for the Indian School providing you with all necessary information about session start, fees, admission fees etc. etc.

The residency laws of the UAE allows expatriate parents to sponsor their sons as long as they are less than 18 years old.
The situation is different if it is a son and if he reaches 18, the parents cannot sponsor him anymore.

The residency laws give the parents only one option in order to keep their 18-year-old son with them here.

According to the law the parents of the teenager can keep him here if he is studying at a local educational institution, a university or a college in the UAE.

The teenager can be sponsored either by the educational institution or by either one of the parents after submitting a document at the residency department that he is continuing his studies here in the UAE.

A deposit of Dh5,000 must be made at the naturalisation and residency department if he is studying in the UAE at an educational institution which is not an accredited institution or one which is not approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. There is no need for a deposit if the educational institution or the university where the son is studying is an accredited one.

6) Don't worry. In Abu Dhabi it is mandatory that your compay provides healthcare for you, your wife and up to 3 kids under the age of 18 year. All costs are on the company. It is comon to join a group insurance and all visits at doctors being on this particular healthcare provider are free of charge. Also the medication you buy in pharmacies being on the network.
Otherwise it depents what kind of doc you have to see, what kind of examination taking place and it the use of a lab is necessary. In general you have to calculate around Dhs 300.

Hope this helped. Take care.
