Will I be accepted? |
I am returning to the UAE very soon after being away for very long time. I have been offered UAE Nationality which I want. My family has helped the UAE very much politically and economically (more than 99.9% of the country) and in return they have helped us, we are loyal and we love the UAE, I speak the dialect, understand the culture and even look half Emirati. I turned my back on my native Arab country years ago for good reasons and I call the UAE home, but, will I ever be truly accepted as an Emirati? Can I wear dishdasha and national dress or I am kidding myself? Will I be accepted as a local? hi friend If you are given UAE nationality, then you need not to be worried over anything especially what to wear (dishdasha etc). Wish you have stated your original nationaliy. There are many people who do not match half of what you have accomplised in trems of journey towards an Emirati, still the country has accepted and taken them into its fold. Yes, why not you will be accepted. Good luck Go ahead. Nothing to worry. There are many non emaratis who wear dishdasha. |
