Help!! Need some insight for Dubai?

I'm in the U.S. and I sent a resume to a company that was advertising a position that I am more than qualified for. They sent a few emails with some questions and some additional paperwork for me to fill out. I got an email 2 days ago asking about Salary and that they would like to interview me that day. I told them what I make now and that I would have to make more for this position and would need apartment and what school I would want my daughter to attend. So far no call or email. Am I to assume that they are not interested or that they just haven't gotten around to calling? How do things work their? Any help on this would be great!!! Also should I send an email to them? I would have liked this job but I am not desperate.

Do not pressure the company for an answer. Please be aware of the time difference and different weekends, too. There also might others applied for this position and it will take the company a while to make a desicion.

Be sure you'll hear from them. To pressure them for an answer would give a wrong impression of you.

Take care

Nothing great here, depends how much they offer you. Get in touch with thema and ask the basic as to rents, school fees etc.

to be honest .. i don't think they'll reply you ..

specially in the field of advertising .. we have so many UAE nationals with talent, knowledge and experience .. why getting some one and paying for him and his family just for an advertising job ??

its good that you want to work here .. just apply for other people if you really want to ..

good luck ..
