I have UAE employment visa issued on my old passport, can i use it on my new passport?

My employer applied for my employment visa using an old passport, i renewed my passport hence the passport number on the visa is different from my current passport, i still have possession of the old passport. Can I be allowed entry to UAE (on employment visa) by presenting both old and new passport?

The answer to your question is YES.

All you have to do is attached (by stapling) the old passport where your visa is attached to your newly issued passport.

This is very common in the UAE for all the foreign workers specially for the Phillippinos who got a passport for 5 years validity only unlike Indians who got 10 years passport validity.

YES. You have right to enter. Your New passport will have your Old Passport's number and reason for the issue of New Passport. So, you need to present both the passports to the immegration. You can continue the same way till the Visa expires (normally valid for 3 years). Or you have an option to restamping the visa to the new passport. Again the validity of the visa remains the same. Will not be extended. Talk to your PRO.
