Car rental at Dubai Airport?

Hi,
I am scheduled to arrive next week at Dubai Airport, and would like to rent a car, do rental companies accept cash or credit cards only . Do I need to reserve one prior to arrival or I can rent one immediately, can you please advice of a cheap rental at the airport and websites where I can reserve one

You can pay via either method. The arrangements are not different from Europe; but you must have international driving license to do so. You can get one at the airport for a few dollar worth.

All the best!/

On the arrival section of the Dubai International Airport right after the baggage claim area, there are almost 12 rent a car company offices there along with hotel representatives.

International companies like Avis, Hertz, etc are available and normally - they take card payment only.

You can rent a car upon arrival and no need to book it online. I would suggest that you take the internationally known brand rather than the local one due to policies and insurance coverage.

Rent starts at around US$ 45/day I think for the normal salon cars 4 cylinders 1.3

Goodluck !

Hello

Its better to have plan every thing before flight. So i suggest you to book it online.

By surfing on net you will get the batter deal.

Pre Booking is not a must. You can pay by cash also, but credit card is better because they take security scratch slip from the card, incase of damage to cars. Other wise you may have to pay heavily in cash and I do not know how they adjust for the traffic fines which normally comes from Police after couple of months only. So, Credit card is normally better.

they accept both .. there are many companies and services so that you'll have many options ..

you'll find them all the way from the plane to airport exit ..

check the airport website or other Dubai tourism websites to help you getting some info ..
