As of to date, is there a law in Dubai, UAE regarding minimum age limit for working there?

I would like to know if there is any since I ve heard rumors in my country that the minimum age limit over there is 25 yrs old for expatriate workers.

In fact yes. A work permit is issued for expatriates 21 years old and above.

As far as I know, the 25 year old minimum age requirement was implemented as a mean to protect Filipina domestic helpers. The justification for such measure is explained here: http://www.poea.gov.ph/hsw/q&a_hsw.html

EDIT: The minimum working age is actually 15 http://www.hrw.org/reports/2006/uae1106/... But most of the time as per my experience, expatriates below the age of 21 are not issued work visas.

The minimum age limit in UAE Law is 18 but some companies dont accept under 21.
