Do boys who are brought up in the UAE are sissy and nincompoops as compared to those in other countries?

Well, this is my own personal view? And the more I see, meet boys, my 'suspicion' is getting the better of me. Pl offer your views. What I really mean is that an average boy being brought up in any other country has more opportunities, by way of luck his curcunstances etc to get a closer look at life, he has more opportunities to build himself strongly as a lot of playgrounds and games are available cheaply, wherease down here, boys are restricted to watching TV, playing on computers or at the most going to to some shopping centre for loitering.

I have to be honest Chand, you have a valid point.

There is one thing that you forgot though far more important than being a sissy or nincompoops (?????). I was brought up in a very close knit family and though for a limited period (most cherish still) - i was able to experience and bond with my grands and other relatives both from father and mother sides. I was able to value and respect more their existence in my life.

I wonder how this could be with those families having their kids away from the place where those important people in their lives are thousand of miles away?

My own view is there are some rich as* people there I go to Dubai every 5 weeks or so.I see nice cars, beautiful girls, great shopping, good food I wish I grew up there. Come see where I was raised, South Philly you always had two opportunities get beat up or beat someone up, sell drugs make money and go to jail, get killed, or have no money and hope somrthing good happens to you. But I dont think I have ever heard the word NINCOMPOOPS what the f*ck is that....

No way!!!
The boys here are so tough, if u even talk about them, they will beat u up !! badly !!

And just because they kept thier respect by not going out to the malls to give girls thier numbers doesnt mean thier sissy's it means they know they r worthy.

And as for the tv. what kind of a man would sit and watch tv? they go out and play soccer go with thier frnds out, do things.

A friend of mine, he is 16 yrs 163 and skinny, he got a group of guys that r 17 and older to come and apologize to my baby bro for hitting him. Now tell me if that is sissy? He is like tiny, and he got around 4-5 guys to apologize to my baby bro and kiss him on his head!!

doesnt sound so sissy to me.!

Yes, all they need is a dress and Wa-la!!

Blame the parents !!!

I do agree with the girl who answered you. Which people are you hanging around? Well, not every boy is tough here like not every boy is tough anywhere else. Since when does a playground makes a boy tougher than one who has to opportunity to enjoy the beach? Concerning playgrounds: did you ever visit the parks with the big playgrounds? Maybe your parents never took you there.:))

Boys in the UAE are not restricted to watch TV. Well they might like to be on the PC like others and enjoy it because the most of them can afford the new technique. Many boys like to do sports and outdoor activities. Also for many it is not necessary to hang out at playgrounds because they have everything they need right at home.
My friend's teenage boy never is alone. He always have a bunch of friends around and she has an open house for them. No need for these kids to hang out on the street and get involved in many strugle. Btw: how many Emairati boys you know who are criminals or drug addics?

Compared to boys in other countries these boys have the opportunity to enjoy a good education in the UAE or aboard. The Government is taking care of it. In my eyes that makes a boy becoming a "tough" man. How many boys in other countries have this opportunity?

Compare life in the UAE with India or Pakistan (I assume you being from one or the other). Where do you think boys are more restricted? Where do they have the better opportunities to grow strong? Where do they have a better life? Where do they have better chances? Do you know how many programs get offered every year to entertain the youth?

I do not know any Emiraiti boy who HAD to leave his home country to look for a better future, but I see many young men and families moving to the UAE. Wonder why.

If you just think for a minute that boys of this country are sissy, you are deadly wrong!

Take care and meet the right people.

umm if you're talking ab physically and getting into fights then maybe you're right because you're not really allowed to fight in the first place, but other than that your question is rather vague.
