Has anyone seen the Burj Dubai under construction?

What is it like in real life? Surreal? Amazing?

I did. It's Amazing. Its the only building I see from my villa balcony.

Its built already but from the programme it looks amazing.

Yes, I've been to Dubai 7 times and seen it rising out of the sand. At first it was just a skeleton of metal, but now it is completely incredible. Personally though, I still find the Burj al Arab, when it's lit up at night in changing colours, the most beautiful place on earth. I would recommend Dubai as a holiday destination to ANYONE. Just go.

It attains some height every week, almost. A friend of mine worked there as an engineer and says he it's really very scary beacuse of the height.

yes .. many times .. last times were yesterday and the day before .. looks "TALL" and i expect it will end up nice .. but i keep imagining how will it be standing in the last floor !!

i've seen pictures from up there and looks scary, adventurous tho .. all the other buildings in Dubai looks tiny ..
