Whats the best way to get to Abu Dhabi from Dubai?

I will be in dubai for a couple of days but interested in going to Abu Dhabi. What is the best way to get there? Is there a taxi at the airport that i can hire when i get to dubai?

Yes, there are taxi's just outside the terminal and relative cheap. I did it a couple of years ago and I think it only takes an hour.

There are also buses if you like, but I just took the first option.

You can get the taxi services at the Airport itself, and even outside the airport which will take you directly to Abu Dhabi...its bit expensive though

Other option would be tough but still would tell you...get a taxi to the bus station and get onto a bus which will drop you to Abu dhabi.

if you're planning to go from dubai airport then you can find a taxi and buses as well, but if you were in the city already then you may go to Bur dubai or Deira bus station and from there you can go and its much cheaper than taking a private taxi, the trip from dubai to Abu Dhabi will take around 2 hours, and hopefully in 2009 everyone will be using Metro! :D

take a taxi if you want .. or rent a car and go ..

its about 1.5 hours driving ..

might cost you AED 300 .. depends on the transportation company you're going with ..
