Yes. It is a good place to be in if your idea of bliss is to be on a beach with good snorkelling facilities, or more adventurous aquatic pursuits. But personally I lament the fact that the beach is raked over constantly, with machines breaking up all the lovely shells and other maritime treasure that one used to find there. Edit: I see that someone is recommending night spots. Bambooze isn't safe any more -- not after 9 pm, anyway. If you want night life, you're better off sticking to a resort. I wonder if O'Brien's is Danny Buoys? That is a fun place, but again, don't hang about late at night.

Its pretty beautiful to say the least. The beach's are quiet, serene, and they play great music at there bar's. You'll enjoy it, there know for they're cigars (If you smoke). Have A Great Time!!!

Nice island, but grossly underdeveloped still. In ten years time, when all the beachfront construction is complete, it's gonna be a tourist hotspot.
Beaches are really something though.... beautiful.

If you are looking for a fun bar to check out, check out O'Briens. Excellent food and fun atmosphere. It's also walking distance to a nightclub called Bamboozle (i think that's what it's called.)
