A U.S. citizen must have a passport for any international trip. you will not be allowed on an international flight without a passport. Even newborns need passports. See website below for all info on getting passports. If you are travelling to the islands by SEA, you do not yet need passports if your cruise begins and ends in the U.sS But, some cruise lines require passengers to have passports, so CALL the cruise line and ask to be sure.

You and your son need a passport to fly to Turks and Caicos. For the year 2007, you do not need a passport to travel to Turks and Caicos by ship. The requirements will change sometime next year.
