When is the least expensive time to travel to Turks and Caicos?

We would probably have a place to stay, so I would be shopping for cheap airfare from Austin. That's the worst part, to get to the island, you have to go from Miami and you can't get anywhere directly from Austin.

I take it that you are after cheap air fares, accommodation being no object. The least expensive time generally speaking is from May to November, the hurricane season. Ironically, the only reasonably fares are with Spirit Air, which flies during the high season (until mid February) from Fort Lauderdale. http://www.abstravel.com/airlines/spirit... Once in a while American Airlines has a fare sale, but blink and you miss it!

Is it worth driving to another airport like Houston or San Antonio so you can fly direct.
