You WILL need a passport...
it takes about 6-8 weeks to get one, you will need a photos taken and the forms with your certified state issued birth certificate. most travel agencies and post offices can help you with this.

Yes. You do need a passport; and may want to look into whether you need a visa or not.

WEST INDIES, British - Islands include Anguilla, Montserrat, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos. *Passport, onward/return ticket, and sufficient funds required for tourist stay of up to 3 months. Consult the British Embassy for further information (202/588-7800). Internet: http://www.britishembassy.ie/

Yes you will. As of Dec 31 2006 to go anywhere out of the USA you will need a passport. Get it now to avoid everyone else running to get their's.

Yes you need one. The only island in the Caribbean that you don't is Puerto Rico. Just an FYI unless your on a resort the people there are not very friendly or accepting of tourists. good luck.

To avoid surprises, an important side issue is travel insurance. The best kind covers trip interruption and medical coverage. For Turks and Caicos, you may want to go with Travel Medical because it has greater focus on medical coverage including emergency transport to get needed care. More details are at http://www.wavehelp.com/trip-cancellatio... You will find coverage heavy on medical care under the column headed "Worldwide Health".
Best wishes.
