Istanbul transport - from Sabiha G枚k莽en to Bak谋rk枚y?

Hello,

I'm taking a trip to Istanbul soon, but have just found out that my airport is a bit far away from where I will be staying. I land at Sabiha G枚k莽en airport, but need to get to European side of Istanbul, more precisely, around Bak谋rk枚y area.

I'd very much appreciate any local guys from Istanbul (or anyone with good travel knowledge) to suggest to me the best way to get there from Sabiha G枚k莽en. I gather that taxi all the way there would be a bit expensive, so I was looking for options on how much would it cost/how long would it take to:

1) Take a bus (would there be buses going directly there?), how much would it cost and does it take longer than 1-2 hours?

2) I gather that The Haydarpasa-Gebze Express is departing from Pendik Train Station, how much does it cost, how long does it take, and does it go near Bak谋rk枚y?

Thanks in advance

Don't even think about the train. Useless

you take the city bus from Sabiha Gokcen airport up-to Taksim
The bus departs just outside the airport gate

That bus will take you to European side (Taksim) and you'll have to take bus or itinary minibus (dolmus, as we say) from Taksim to Bakirkoy.

This entire trip will take around 2 hours and cost you something like USD 3-4 . No need to get a ticket on beforehand but directly pay in cash both in the bus and in the minibus
