Has anyone ever been to turin?

How is it and where are the best places to go?

I'm Italian, and I can say that Turin is full of beautiful places, I really love the Valentine's Park, it is great because behind that you find a piece of Italy, the renaissence...I loved the Egyptian Museum and the cathedral...

hardly anyone,it's shrouded in mystery

Yes - I live here and it is wonderful. You can find out more on my personal blog and site about this wonderful place http://www.my-italy-piedmont-marche-and-...

It is really undiscovered but the centre of Turin is one of the most elegant, interesting and historic cities on earth. It also has unsurpassed food and chocolates second to none

Having spent many months in Italy let me share the following. It is totally overlooked as a place to visit in Europe!
Turin. or Turino as we call it is a delightful & wonderful place to visit in northern Italy. For a tourist , there are archetectual wonder s to see and one may spend a week alone going thru their Auto Museum. Or, if you timing is right the big anual international auto shoe which rivals that held in Geneva Switzerland each Nov. The food is great most anywhere there and the locals are very friendly. In the event of a longer stay, buy a Fiat, the price includes shippment to the USA.
Turin is the home of Fiat and they have factory service locations all over Italy (highway signs) which generally are covered by the new car warrantee.
