I'm an Egyptian: I hear that Tunisians don't like Egyptians in general is that true, tunisians?

I heard that from some people but nobody knows why (if that was ever correct) I wish it's not correct but if it's correct, I'd like to know why:-) thanks

I'm not Tunisian, but I am married to one and live in Tunisia, and I have not seen or heard any bad things about Egyptians in the 5 years I've been over there. My husbands father has been to Egypt a few times and when he has come back he has always said nice things about the country and people, just that it's crowded over there. I hope that you don't think that we have racist thoughts, especially because everyone I know tries to live their lives in "Peace and love" and that includes everyone.

No,,, tunisians love egyptians pretty much and they are big fans of adel emam and om kalthoom... my best times ever was spent in tunisia and I'm an egyptian...
I recommend that u visit gamart and sosa... gr8 ppl there..

vertigohashem thank you for the comment. In fact you can not generalize such an opinion, it is like your are limiting the Tunisians in their perception of Egyptians. Tunisians can not be limited in a common character.

Hi,
Not statistic based!
It's some body opinion, based of their experience with some one saying he's egyptain!
That's all.
Now you go to Tunis, say you're egyptian, they are not going to bit you.
In the opposate you'll be surprised.
Unless you meet with someone who've got a problem with an egyptian. He will tell you his story.
That's all!
My brother got cheated from an egyptian living in Switzerland (some 10th thousand of us$!)
I have no problem to deal with egyptian.
I have to be carefull only.
