Has anybody holidayed at tunisia and what was it like?

yes i been several times. depands what you looking for, busy places are Sousse, Hammamet, Port El Kantaoui and tunis of course. more quite places are Kairouan, djerba, bizerta, monastir, skanes. i have found the people are very helpfull and polite and cant do enuff for you. the beaches are crowded do the summmer month, the sand is very clean and fine, the sea is lovely warm. my hotel was supper. very clean and good deal for money. SKANES EL HANA,,,MONASTIR

Some friends of mine went there very recently and said it was a real dump. They found the resort dreadful, the beaches a real let-down and the people very unfriendly. The only thing they could recommend was an ancient coloseum.
