What are good clothes for a woman to pack for Tunisia in January? |
There will be a variety of outings, so I need to pack a few different outfits. I'll be staying for 5 weeks, with a lot of daytrips and travel. January is winter time in Tunisia. The weather is generally cold and rainy in all parts of the country (there is snow if you head up to the mountains), and if you are staying in a Sea cost resort, it is also humid which makes the weather feel even colder. If you plan of visiting the Sahara, not only will it be cold, but there will be a lot of dust storms at this time as well. You will want to pack clothes that you would normally pack if you are going somewhere in the winter. I'll say take a lot of summer stuff because it is not cold there in January. I have just returned from tunisia early hours this morning. I would advise to not to wear short and reveling clothes as the tunisian men are very touchy out there and I hated it very much specially in Monastir. The weather has changed while been out theer at the moment there are thunderstorms so i recommend to take a mixture of clothes. |
