What is swansea like to live in?

amazon.co.uk is opening a factory in swansea and i am thinking of moving

amazon yes coming to swansea,they just building a brand new sa1 development right opposite it.swansea is the city by the sea,stunning beaches,friendly people,lovely town and biggest indoor market in wales.we had a new olympic swimming pool couple of yrs ago.plus they building another one.nightlife is 24 hrs round the clock.and dont forget the gower apsolutly stunning.plus only 1 hr away from cardiff

good nightlife. the gower is stunning. they have nearly finished building a new leisure centre which will be amazing. the mumbles is my favourite its nice there.

I've never lived there, but I visit quite often and have friends who live there. It's a lovely city - the centre is a bit grim (it was bombed in WW2), but the whole place has a really friendly atmosphere. It's close to the Gower, which has some stunnning beaches, but is still less than an hour from Cardiff and has good transport links by road and rail. There is even a Swansea-Cork ferry if you fancy visiting Ireland, though it's not running at the moment. I don't know where you live at the moment, but Swansea is relatively inexpensive and will give you a great quality of life.

Swansea is such a lovely place to live. I moved over here from London two years ago. Its not too busy like london or cardiff, people are friendly and buses are reliable. On weekends you can visit langland bay, rhossilli, three cliffs etc. There is also the grand theatre and the quite recently opened Vue cinema. my son goes out with a girl from that area and he loves it and he is from barnsley s yorks

Never wanted to go there myself ! But i do know the city is grim.
