Where should we stay in St. Louis, Missouri?

My husband and I are headed to St. Louis for our anniversary this coming weekend and we need to know where to stay. We like bed and breakfasts, but realize we'll probably end up in a hotel with this late of notice. Any suggestions? We've been there before several times, but rarely stay a night (we are 2 hours away). So we need some advice. Thanks!

The downtown Westin is very nice - especially the rooms with jacuzzi tubs. Renaissance and W on Washington are also nice and close to restaurants, clubs, Lumiere Place (the new casino) etc. Happy Anniversary!

There are plenty of hotel options for the St. Louis area. Depending on what you two plan on doing can help determine where to get a hotel. If you want to do things downtown, then try to get a hotel downtown so you can walk to the places you want to go. If you want to be a little out of town for a little quite time, then there are also hotels a few minutes outside of St. Louis. Here is a site with a list of hotels in the area...

Have fun and happy anniversary!!~~~~

The contributors have provided very good information. And St. Charles-old town is worth considering. Neat area!

Keep in mind that a section of highway 40 is closed in both directions. Thus consider using an alternate route

Check this link-will give you a lot more information about it.

Happy Anniversary!!
