Where can i go to see the st. louis sky line in my car?

just wanna over look the home town in my car like in the movies

GCS Ballpark in Sauget.

I-64 to I-255 South, Mousette Lane (Exit 15). West at stop sign onto Sauget Industrial Park Drive, then left at stop sign onto Goose Lake Road. The ballpark will be on the right.

How about E. St. Louis, Ilinois, I-55/70, exit #3 Gateway Int'l Raceway. Go during the week and the parking lot should be empty, if not across the street is a big truck stop where you can park and sightsee.

Take the Third street exit on the Illinois side (hwy 64). Follow the signs to the Casino Queen. This should give you the closest, most unobstructed view of the STL skyline. Maybe you can consider parking and using the pedetrian path on the Eads for a better view. To access the pedestrian path, take elevator or stairs to the eastbound metrolink platform. As you enter the platform, the ramp to the pedestrian path is on the right.

Another option would be to drive over the poplar St bridge toward St.Louis or take the Metro Link from Illinois to Downtown and look out the window. I love the view sitting on the top deck of the Becky Thatcher or Huck Finn cruising down the river on a summer night.
