How would you feel if one of your YA! answers was plastered all over theinternet?

I recently found out that one of my answers on YA! was copied and pasted all over the internet. The person did give me credit. Would you feel angry at this or would you let it go?

I will post the link to my answer and many other links to where it was posted again when I choose a best answer.

Hee hee..Porgie, if I were to google my username, that will bring a whole different kettle of fish...

Feel honored, I say.

One of my answers were used in a publication, and I felt really good about that. ;-)

You are someone whose answers are always worth reading.

I would feel honoured. Congra, it's also good that the person who did it acknowledged you. to the person above me, that's being rude of you.

Let it go. It's done, that bell has been rung, and you cannot un-ring a bell.

if they gave you credit feel proud.

Wouldnt feel angry at all. Actually, if you google certain questions, you might be led to YA!

I dont know. I've never posted anything worth copying (I think). But if I did post something like my poems I would definitely lose it if someone was using them as their own. If I got credit, well... I'd be fine.

I do not really like it. If I google my yahoo name, I find I am all over the net. Or if I google a word of one of my questions, eg. the one about the prego sauce, then it is also all over the net.

It麓s alright if it is on yahoo, but I would like to limit my "claim to fame" to yahoo only.

Ladynite, I could agree with you.

it's not like someone took a personal file and slapped it online. you gave an answer in a community blog, it's not a surprise.

you should be happy, and honoured... include the link!!! hee hee!!!

I would not have a clue if that happened to me unless I accidently found it and I would ignor it. It is harnless. Just to let you know this qyestion has been posted in the wrong place.

It depends on what the question and answer were. If it was something of a serious or factual nature, I would be okay with it if it was helpful to people. But if it was something silly, and my answer was a joke, misconstrued by someone who isn't a regular here and didn't get it, I might be angry. But you do have to figure anything you put out there on the internet can end up anywhere and everywhere.

I would be Horrified and I would stop getting on yahoo answers. Then after the shock wore off I would feel honered to know that,.
that person was so happy with my answer that they wanted to share it with everyone.

I also googled myself and was proud when I found several of my poems posted there! Another good reason I think is that it leads others to Yahoo Answers! The more the merrier!! Lighten up and spread the word!!

You've spoken about this website that posts our answers from the Sout African travel section of YA! before. Link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

If what we are saying here will make a difference in South Africa, then I will have no problem at all. Glad that the person gave you the credit and that proves your answer / reply was great. Just let it go, no need to be angry.

It depends how it was used.... I suppose in a postive way I would be flattered.

Who cares, and what does this have to do with TRAVEL in South Africa??
