No civilised person can survive peacefully and prosperously in South Africa, so no, a Jananese American would certainly struggle to cope with the savagery and primitive practises of the African natives as well as their racist attacks on all who are non black.

Of course you can. I have several American friends who have lived and worked in the country. Every single one of them loved it and most of them extended their stay. Those that have moved on have been back to visit.
