How do "white nights" affect people in St. Petersburg, Russia? white nights affect how people sleep and what they do during the day...such as work and farming/harvesting. They let them party longer and enjoy life in general. Other than that, I don't know, maybe some old pensioners have trouble sleeping or something... they dont they give us more time to stay up, go out and have fun! A lot of special tours are given on the city in St. Petersburg during white nights. well... i guess (at least among other things) they make people realize how close to the arctic circle they live. :-) they dont. you get used to it. |
