What Is Your Favorite Place to Visit in Russia?

And if you have never been there, what place would you visit?

I personally love the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. The paintings and statues there are magnificent. I especially like Picasso and Rodin.

小锌邪褋懈斜芯!

I visited St.Petersburg a couple of years ago, loved the place, the wide roads, the bridges, the canals, the palaces, the gardens, and the seige museum. I was still wearing sunglasses at 10.30 pm !. Hotel a little rough, but did'nt spoil the visit. Hope to go back one day( not same hotel though).Would like to visit Moscow but hotels very expensive.

Pikassovski and Rodinov are wonderful - true -
Pikassovski in particular never triggered any scandal in Ussr, and russian people deeply love and understand him, even more than Pushkin .

Same think with Nabokov, Pasternak, Chagall, Maiakovski Stravinski, Soutine etc

Ryazan.

Moscow

I like my city - Ekaterinburg.
But I also like Sochi, its a nice place, warm and beautiful. And St.Petersburg of course. I dont like Moscow though.

Nothing beats Velikiy Novgorod for me =)

Moscow Metropol owns no question. Im going again this summer.

St. Petersburg is cool but its not really my type of city, I like the living pace of Moscow.

Japan is my pick. I have never been to Russia and don't plan on going either.
