Any recommendations? I want to live in Portland, Oregon in a diverse neighborhood.?

Or is Portland is diverse as it gets?

North Portland is probably as diverse as you will ever find.
You have the minorities and the whites as well. I would guess
there are more Latinos' than Afro Americans, but then it may be a toss up. The property levels are lower in north Portland, and people generally find rental prices to their liking. Especially for houses. There are alot of rentals but older units. So you would have to check in the Sunday Oregonian for listings of vacancies. Also the Hillsboro and Forest Grove
and Beaverton areas west of Portland have a heavy Latino population and I heard one area of SE Portland is known as Little Mexico.
Portland is as diverse as any city on the west coast. There
are alot of cultures and races and I'm sure you'll have no
trouble finding your niche and what appeals to you the most.

Well, my advice is to go ahead and move there. How else will you live there and how else will you know if it is diverse enough for you?

Live in the Hawthorne or the Pearl or Multnomah Village for diversity. You can find anything you want in those areas. Portland has a very very diverse, well educated, wired population.

The City is bicycle friendly, has a city wide wifi network, numerous city college campus options, many nightlife options and more microbreweries than and other city in the US.

The climate here is great and doesn't keep you in unless you melt in the fine mist or rain. Never too hot never too cold.

Yeah, if you want the most diverse neighborhood in Portland, head to SE Portland, especially on or around Hawthorne.
