What do you first think of when someone says Oregon?

1. The People?
2. What it looks like?

what are your first reactions?

1) My family and friends and the Blazers. (I'm from Portland)
2) Clean and green.

I'm working overseas now, so I really miss Oregon.

Trail - brings back good memories of 4th grade!!

mountains

I immediately think of the beauty of the west coast. The drive along the coastal highway is amazing. The weather is nice during the summer as well.

Oregon Trail...

haha,
Then the idiocy subsides, and I think of mountains, and my friend who likes one of their college's football teams... Beavers?

Crater Lake - one of the most beautiful places I`ve ever been to!!

Well, I'm originally from New Zealand and now living in Oregon.

Before I came I would have said "trees". Now that I've lived here a while I'd say "trees, mountains, Columbia River, friendly and relaxed people, liberalism, temperate climate, beaches, micro-breweries and good beer, Lewis and Clark, Portland Trail Blazers".

Oregon Trail (the game)

1. Hippies and white people
2. Mountains/ Pretty

I think about how beautiful and amazing it is there. I think about how the people are polite. And I think about how it has everything, coast, mountains, desert, forest, valley, rivers, lakes, everything.
It is the best place on earth.

Great people, great scenery, great food , great beer, cheapest city to live in on the West coast

Eugene comes to mind first.
I love this city, the people - for the most part, smart, hospitable and open-minded, the scenery - natural, homey and lovely, the atmosphere - artistic, political, green, alternative, one of my favourite cities in the U.S.

rain!

Mountains and Trees... I live in Oregon... Its okay, I guess....

beautiful, rain, gorgeous scenery

rain, gorgeous beaches with freezing water, friendly people, bicyclists, mountains, trees, recycling

One of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Trees, mountains, rivers, desert (Eastern Oregon).
Good food.
Good beer.
Nice people.

I'm loving the fact that Portland is my new home.

I think of Portland. Then I think of what Portland is like and what the people are like.
