Hotel in or around Hershey Park, PA? |
I am looking to go to Hershey, PA for a couple of days in August I am interested in seeing Hershey Park and I will be visiting some friends. I don't want to ask my friends who live in the area because they will insist that we stay with them. I was looking for a HOTEL that has a small kitchen (efficiency - I think they call it) something that has a small stove, refrigerator, freezer and sink. Somewhere I can make my own stuff if I want. I am not interested in staying at a run down roach motel - if you know what I mean. Looking for something that might have an indoor or outdoor pool is fine. Any suggestions please let me know. I searched through the internet and came across many hotels but none had what I was looking for. I used mapquest to look for hotels in and around Hershey and not one of them had a kitchenette.I just came back from Hershey on Saturday night. there are a quite a few hotels that are close to to the park. holiday in on rt 93 comfort inn Hershey lodge.I do not recommend the best western on sipes rd it was terrible. It wasn't a roach motel but it wasn't very appealing either.way to pricey for what they gave 100.00 for 1 night no pool frig didn't work, faucet was broke, clothes left behind by other guest,no manager on sight it was bad!!!!!!! try this....https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/h... Try TripAdvisor.com. The closest hotel with a kitchenette is in Harrisburg, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Harrisburg East. It's about 15 minutes from Hersheypark (which is one word, by the way). check out the hershey lodge Check out the website and i believe they have hotel suggestions. If not try Hershey,PA on hotels.com or orbitz.com Expand your search to include the Harrisburg area. It's only 20 mins west of Hershey and you'll get many more choices, including a Marriott Residance Inn right along Route 322. I live in that area and I think you are going to have a hard time getting the efficiency and the pool. check out the quality inn and suites less than 2 miles from the park. most rooms have what you are looking for and the place is clean and the prices are good. to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcusehotels.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck! |
