Help Choosing Disney World Resorts !!!!?

We need help choosing a resort in Disney World. Which ones have the best pools? Which one has the biggest waterslide? Which resort has the most places to eat? Which ones have the easiest transportation to the other parks? What hotel do you think is best?

The resort with the best pool is the Yacht and Beach Club. It covers over an acre with a lazy river, a whirlpool, even a sandy beach area. The water slide into the pool is also fantastic.
I think the resorts with the best transportation into the other parks are the ones in the Magic Kingdom. The monorail makes getting around so easy.
You might think about splitting your stay between resorts. My family likes to stay a couple of days at a Magic Kingdom resort, then a couple of days in an EPCOT resort. That way you get to enjoy more than one resort and you are right at each park for all the conveniences.

check the sites for each resort out, they each have many features, and u can see them here:

the easiest transportation of course are on the monorail.if you are traveling with small kids this is huge...no need to fold strollers etc.however i have found that i stayed at one of the nicer hotels in the park(but not on the monorail)and the treansportation was way worse than the budget hotels.the budget hotels were cheaper and quicker trans...more buses.other than that, you still need to get to every park somehow.i wouldnt pick a certain hotel for the pools etc,you will never be in the hotel.as for dining, the budget hotels have cafeteria style which suits the kids fine.

Beach Club has the best pool. Polynesian pool is good too.

Polynesian's dining options are the best!

Plus it has the monorail right to the Magic Kingdom and you can walk to the transportation center and hop on the monorail to Epcot.

Check the links below. You can look at aerial shots and maps of all the resorts (pretty cool - you can see the pools too!). The other link will take you to the dining options at all of the resorts.

Have fun!

My favorite is to go moderate so you don't feel like you spent all your money on hotel...and have more to enjoy the parks with. my favorite moderate is PortOrleans riverside. They have alligator bayou and the mansions and lots of little pools with the feature pool being Old man Island. My kids love it - it does have a nice water slide and a playground nearby.

At riverside you can also rent all kinds of boats and have run with those. Also there is the free boat taxi that goes to Port Orleans - French Quarter where you can enjoy their feature pool where you slide down the dragon mouth. Kids love that one...but slide is better at old man island. The free boat taxi also goes to Disney Village Marketplace too.

Oh and also remember that the value hotels have the cheapest food and the deluxe is where you pay $5 for just to soda...lol!

At Riveside they have a nicer sit down place and food court style place. You can also get pizza in room. The French Quarter also has a food court place you can go eat at.

My brother stayed at the yacht club and I must agree that they are fabulous pools an all (but the feature pools close early...not 24-7 so after a day in the park you can't use them cause they are closed) The food there was so high priced...it made me feel like I was getting ripped off.

At old man island the pool stays open all night...but the slide part closes and they turn it off.
So I vote stay moderate unless you are really going for all luxury and have the money to blow.,
