Disney Resorts? Which is prettier, closer to the parks, better service, overall best:? |
either the carribean beach resort, or the Coronado springs? Unfortunately I have never stayed in either of these resorts, however my brother and his fiance stayed at Carribean Beach last year. They loved it because they have hammocks at the sandy beaches that you can relax on and there was Jamacan music playing throughout the resort. To them it was very tropical. The only thing they said is that where their room was, it was far from EVERYTHING, so if you plan on staying at this resort, request a room that is closer to the busstops, food court, and main building. Coronado Springs resort is the same way. It is situated around a huge lake, so depending on where your room is, you may be walking a lot after a long day at the parks. There is one advantage that Carribean Beach has over Coronado Springs, they have an internal bus system that will pick you up at various parts of the resort and take you to the front. When we went last June, we did check out both resorts and I thought the Carribean Beach Resort was the prettiest between the two, plus it is closest to Epcot, so you can see the fireworks from there. Hope this helps. All of the Disney resorts are amazing. every one of them is beautiful and has great service. You will have just as much fun and good experiences at either resort. My absolute favorite is the Beach Club over by Epcot. THe board walk is a neat one as well. I have stayed at every resort (except the value ones). Between the two you have listed, I would go with Carribean Beach. I'm sorry, I haven't stayed at either of those, but I love Port Orleans. It's so quiet and beautiful, like a break from the craziness of the park atmosphere. I stayed at the Caribbean and thought it was great. But Coronado looks really neat too. Coronado is the convention hotel so it is less "disney" than the other ones. You will see a lot more business people etc...than just all families. I think Carribbean Beach has or is soon closing the feature pool for a new overhaul...so I wouldn't go there with kids if you are hoping for having a fun pool. I like Coronado center of everything parks wise and its newer looks better and theres a lake you can walk around. Yes above is right there are conventions held there but they do separate regular vacationing families from the convention guests Disney is good with that. they areall awesome but it depends what your budget is. & it also depends how long you plan on staying at the hotel each day. in terms of disney their hotels are always amazing & all the staff are great at whichever one you go to its just you get what you pay for. the more you pay the better the experience. :) Neither. You should stay at the animal kingdom resort. its the same price but it beautiful.Depending where you get a room makes it better.Where I stayed we had a safari view. we could see zebras, giraffes, and some many other beautiful animals. the place has great service and it is pretty much in the center. the gift shop is really cool too. they have traditional African necklaces and art. When you walk to the main lobby there is a fireplace in there. They have a great pool with 2 hot tubs. If you have 2 kids you can get bunk beds. there is ONLY bunk beds(for the kids) at this resort(of course they have normal beds for the adults.)The hotel may not be on your choices but personality it is really great. |

If you have six days at disney world, then I would spend two days each at the magic kingdom and epcot, and one day each at animal kingdom and the disney studios.
