Can you get from an epcot resort to magic kingdom by using a monorail?

I'm staying at the swan.

yes, the monorail only goes to Epcot and 3 resort hotels. you just have to change transits btn two monorails and its fairly easy just ask a cast member.

i couldn't find that on the website but i went to disney a few years ago with my family and i rember that we could get to all the parks on the complementary transportation. on the website it said "Transportation to the Theme Parks, Water Parks and Downtown Disney庐 from this Resort is available by:
鈥ater Launch
鈥us
鈥ou may also use the walkway
to enter Epcot庐 and
Disney's Hollywood Studios鈩?quot;

yes

Yes, but you have to depart and change lanes at the transit station.

No - not directly. If you want to get to the magic kingdom simply by walking onto the monorail, you can only do that at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and the Contemporary.

Yes. Take the monorail (or bus) to the transportation center. From there take a different monorail (or bus or ferry) to The Magic Kingdom. The transit time is the same no matter what mode you use. The monorail is easiest, but it can get crowded. The ferry is fun to do once.

NO you cannot get from the swan hotel to MK by monorail. You can only take a bus to MK from Swan.

Now if you are at epcot and want to go to MK yes you can ride the monorail other than that no

Josh & James are correct. You cannot step directly on a monorail from an EPCOT resort to get to Magic Kingdom. (I'm assuming by EPCOT resort you mean Beach Club, Yacht Club or Boardwalk, the resorts that are within walking distance of EPCOT.)

You can walk to EPCOT from those resorts and hop on the monorail at EPCOT to get to the TTC and get to Magic Kingdom that way. But it's not like at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Polynesian Resorts where you can walk 100 feet outside your resort directly on to the monorail.

*EDIT* Now that I think about it, if you walk to EPCOT from Boardwalk, Yacht Club or Beach Club, you enter EPCOT from the "back" entrance near the United Kingdom pavilion. And the EPCOT monorail station is at the front entrance to EPCOT. So you would have to walk through EPCOT and exit at the front entrance to get to the EPCOT monorail station. So unless you have a park hopper ticket, this would not be advisable. Even with a park hopper, it's probably just quicker to take the bus from your resort directly to Magic Kingdom. Plus the bus will drop you off directly at the Magic Kingdom gate. The monorail from EPCOT will take you to the TTC where you take either another monorail or a ferry to the Magic Kingdom entrance.

you cant get directly from epcot to MK but you can stop at the ttc and get on a different monorail

Yes but you have to change busses at the TTC. It's super cool though, we do it all the time.
