Is Disney World a worthwhile vacation? |
Our family is going to Florida over spring break. I heard there are so many people at Disney World you have to wait for hours to go on any rides. Would a trip there really be that stressful? It is definitly worth the trip. I am a 30 yr old man who isn't easily impressed and turned into a 9 yr old in Disney. As for the long lines, they offer a plan call fast pass, where you can slide a card through the ride and it will tell you what time to come back. You walk around to other rides and when the time comes, they let you right onto the ride. Get the park hopper pass, it allows you to go to all four parks, and they provide the transportation. You will have a great time regardless of what age you are. There is something for everyone. I suggest you get this book, The unofficial guide to Disney world. It has a lot of tips and suggestions about which are the best days to go to each park, itineraries, etc. Spring Break time is busier than it used to be. But no, I wouldn't say you have to wait for hours! Occasionally you do see a ride with a wait over an hour, but that is still pretty rare. If you haven't already, read up on how to use the free Fastpass system: http://allearsnet.com/tp/fastpass.htm I have gone to Disney on its record breaking most crowded time of year, which is between xmas and new year. Even with the crowds, its really not that bad. Plus, don't forget fast passes! You can get a fast past for one ride while you go wait in line to ride another or enjoy any of the other attractions. Then when its your designated fast pass time, you can go back and ride that ride. DISNEY IS DA BOMB!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU STAY AFTER FOR THE FIREWORKS!!!!!! YES. Everyone should experience Disney World at least once in their life. It is only as stressful as you make it. Don't forget, Disney is the happiest place on earth. If it is a bit much, you can always opt for some time out of the parks and enjoy other local attractions. Hours is really pushing it, but during Spring Break (especially Easter week) it is quite busy. Live in Florida, yes. Go to a nice beach area, less$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!! How is that even a question!! Of course it is! Absolutely!!!!!! Its the best place you will ever go. we go every year. If you dont want crowds, you must go when kids have school. any other time you will have lines. however, we go the end of August. reason is because the southern schools are back and its alot less busy, plus disney usually offers free dining at that time just to get people in the place when its slow disney world smells funny If you're going to go during a busy time like spring-break, then I suggest that you subscribe to this website: Absolutely! Whether you have children along or not. YES YES YES!!! It is totally worthwhile! The lines can be long at times, but the wait is worth it! And you can get Fastpasses to help you surpass the lines at some rides. I have been to Disney World every year since 2000 and I love it more every time I go! Going to Disney World is the best vacation ever! it's so much fun to be stressful. you can get fast passes. but stay at the disney resorts so you can go to the parks earlier and stay later. |
