Can anyone tell me how far Busch Gardens Florida is from Indian Rocks Beach, & is it worth the time?

we are also planning on Sea World what is the best way to purchase tickets for both mail, online or at entrance to park. Any advice or info on things to do while in the Clearwater area would be appreciated.

its probably about a little over an hour drive depending on the traffic.
i personally love busch gardens,
alot of rides but theres also alot of shows,animals,and really nice restaurants :)
i'd say buy your tickets online so that you can skip the heavy lines to purchase tickets at the entrance.
and in clear water theres not so much to do but shop,i would say hit the countryside mall :)

Here is the link to the mapquest page. It says it is 33.9 miles and a 46 minute drive to Busch Gardens. I personally think 46 minutes is nothing to get out and go somewhere. I drive 20 minutes just to get to work every day. Your best bet, as with most things, is to buy your tickets in advance online. Look up discounted tickets, and sometimes Sea World will have a special offer where the adult tickets are at child prices. I've never been, but I hope this helps.

Busch Gardens also has a water park, Adventure Island I think. I took the kids to both last spring break. Indian Rocks beach is a great place, we used to go over every summer when my grandparents lived in that area. Nice beaches, a place called Johns Pass, which is kind of a shopping area and there is a bird sanctuary also right around there. You may be lucky enough to find sharks teeth walking along the beach.

dont know to much about the journey but know this is one of the better parks along with sea world. You are making great choices.

If you was getting a ticket from UK I would recommend the flexi ticket which lasts 2 weeks and covers busch gardens, both universal theme parks, the water parks and sea world. But as you are further away and wont be using it so much you may be better to get a day ticket to busch gardens and then usually from there you can but a cheaper ticket to sea world. They just want to keep yu with there parks so give you offers.

Its also looking out for discount coupons which you can often see in hotels shops etc.

While in Clearwater check out the beach. It's really nice. And if you want to in Tampa there's a really nice mall, International Plaza. It's got some great stores!
