Was wondering if it would be better to A. pay for a trip threw expedia with a credit card and wait and pay for it off when trip is over or b. just use my debit card. Just wondering which one would be safer to use. Thanks.

One is not safer than the other. Lots of the time credit card companies will include automatic trip protection/insurance, though. So you might want to read your information and see if yours does.

You should be insured with a credit card but may have to pay a 3 % extra charge but it does allow you to keep your cash in case you need it while you are away and if everything goes well you pay of the card as soon as you arrive home.

C. Book directly from the official hotel website. You are not going to save anything by booking from an unofficial 3rd party travel website.
