How much money should I take for our Disney Florida vacation?

We are going to Florida in April. How much money should we take? There will be me, my hubby and our 2 kids (2 and 3 years old). All we have to pay for is our food and any souveniors we might want. We are going for 7 days. It has been forever since I've been there, I forget how much everything costs.

Generally speaking, how much do souvonirs cost inside the park? I'm talking like mickey and minnie dolls, shirts, etc. As far as eating, we'll be eating breakfast at the hotel, and we usually do buffets since we're also going with my folks.

For food prices and menus check out allearsnet.com.

When we go we plan on $100 a day for food and snacks. Depending on how much you plan on buying I would say $100 per person for souvinors.

To be safe take at least $1000 to $1500. You will be suprised how easily it is to spend money at Disney. Whether it be on snacks or a mickey doll. Take more then you think you will need and you'll be set.

Have fun on your trip.

I would take 1000 if you plan to eat at the fancy resturants maybe more.

15lbs of 50$ bills

I would bring about a $1,000 to be safe, so you can get your kids all the things they won't leave without.

well there is a meal plan where you pay 500 dollars and get a charater meal for every meal of the day. it is a lot cheeper doing it that way then spending 100 or more a meal just to see mickey
if you dont get the meal plan then i would bring about 1050 dollars becuz you never no how much ur total bill will come to. and there are sooo many things you can get also they do picture stops and if it comes out good why not buy it=]

have fun!!!!=]

Depends on what you still need to pay ie park tickets, food. But its best to take as much as you can afford to take. It seems quite difficult to budget in disney then when you get outside you have all those wonderful shops. lol

I would say 5,000 that is how much I bring with..

2 Adults
1 child

Are call disney?

Here is what I would figure:

Lunch $30/Day X 7 = $210
Dinner $50/Day X 7 = $350
$20/person X 5 (7 minus two travel days) = $400
Misc Expenses $100

Total Budget: $1060

i have gone 7 times, and am going back in 3 days (this sunday). we have me, my husband, and 2 kids ages 11 and 14. we take around $900 to $1000 with us, becyase everything is expensive there and you also have to tip and do junk like that. have fun, and hope that helps! =]

I agree with the info. that everyone has provided you with, however, you buy souveniers at Walmart - they carry authentic merchandise for less. You can find what you're looking for at Walmart neareast the parks. It's where I shop for souveniers for my family.

mortgage your house! Just kidding! i'd say give each child a spending limit or tell them they can buy 3 souveniers and then maybe a few hundred for yourself. Do you really need those crappy tshirts?? Look for the clearance racks in disney, they have them in the Village stores.
Guess it depends on your budget! The memories and pictures are priceless.

take between $500 to $1000 due to even the small souveniors costing a decent amount. enjoy it as your kids will make it a good memory for you and your hubby.

You should be able to eat 2 meals for your family on $100 in the park and still squeeze in a souvenir or two...enjoy
