Survey-would you visit a Bible theme park? |
Would you visit? How far would you drive to visit? How much would you pay to get in? Would you go again and again? How old are you? This is very important, they're trying to build one in our community. If we can get enough feedback it would be very helpful to our opposition. Don't forget to include your age. Thanks what a neat idea. Dont think it would have the appeal of say disney world but i would take my family there if it was near somewhere i was,. It would have to be really good for me to travel any distance. The fact so many people travel to orlando year on in to visit there theme parks is the measure of their success in their field and you would need to go some to have that sort of appeal. No-0 Miles-$0-No-too old to change my mind on this one i can see it now鈥art the red sea and drown the pharoh鈥r how about hit the target and kill goliath. how about no? capitalization on religion鈥mells like america No, I wouldn't want to support such foolishness. Apparently a lot of people would .... To somewhat balance the 1st 3 replies, I just shared with my great church G12 housegroup, after last night's great study @ proper priorities & goals in life, that my recent 'Big 6-0', as fabulous as it was, after a fair few close calls down the years, it's never been the most anticipated 2008 event in my eyes Yes- we have visited the Holyland Experience in Orlando and it was fabulous! Our whole family really enjoyed it. I don't remember the exact amount we paid but it was around $30 for adults and $15 for children. Yes we would do it again and again! We are in our 30's with 3 children. I would go to check it out like I do with everything that opens up here in Orlando, but I do not think it will do very well. Look at The HolyLand Expirience who has been struggling for years to stay open but just recently bought by one of the largest Christian Networks TBN we will see what happens. They are actually making that a "taping studio" but will keep operating the park to see if they can make it better. yes i would visit, it depends on how much it would cost to travel to this theme park, hmmm...a good starting price would be $34.99 depending on the rides, shows, and bible time atmosphere, if the park kept on adding new rides and stuff yes i would go again and again, my age range= 20's-30's. People are allowed to go where they want and spend their money as they wish. I would never go myself. If I want God I'll go to church. These are places for people who already believe this particular brand of Christian doctrine. I disagree with people making tons of money off of peoples faith. On the other hand, it creates jobs in a difficult economy. Im not huge religious and find it rude when bible beaters try shoving their religion down my throat,... so i guess to open a place where you can go on your own to learn about it is better than the "Holyer than thou" trying to turn me into something I have no intrest in! Didn't Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker try this???? NO! If Jesus was alive today, I don't think he'd be for it. It's just like Casinos in churches, whether or not it goes to charity, it's still wrong. Age:21 No. it's not that I'm not religious, but Church is boring, so why would I want to go to a religion-themed park? I'd rather spend my money on something amusing and worth my money. Wasn't that in the movie Fletch Lives? Yes!!! Anywhere in the US i would go to see it. Not hundreds, but anything reasonable, probably not more the $60-$70 though. Anything higher seems strange since this is Disney's price. If it is nice of course i would. I'm 18 and have a very strong faith. No, I would not visit this type of theme park. I am a mother of 3 in my mid-thirties and we have strong faith, but I do not believe in the commercialization of God. i wouldnt go at all. sounds boring and preachy no i would not- i am 23 I am age 31 and no, I wouldn't choose to visit this unless it was a group thing through my church. 18 years old && no i would neverrrrr everrrrrr go to one! |
