Im 13 i need some i deas of what i should bring on my car ride to florida?

ok i will be driving with my cuzins (13 and 7 years old) and my 2 sisters (3 years old) i have no electronics ! and get car sick so i cant do puzzles and stuff like that . also i live in new york so the ride will be like 20 hrs HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get motion sick too, it's terrible! I can't read or use my Nintendo DS, watch videos or anything of the sort in a car. I'd bring along an MP3 player packed with lots of music and maybe some books on CD.

Music, a pillow, a blanket, gum, perhaps something like knitting or crocheting?

When my sister and I would take long car rides we would play the alphabet game where you look for letters on your drive and the first person to get from A-Z in order wins... We also had these roadside bingo cards that were fun...

Go to your library and check out a few good books on tape/CD. The Harry Potter books on tape are really well done and a lot of fun to listen to. That's something everyone in the car can enjoy, and it will make the time fly by! When I was growing up, my family always did this on road trips.

listen to music off of a cd, watch a movie on a portible dvd player, and play slow classical/jazz on a cd to put you and your family to sleep. One time I was in your spot and this is what i did.

wow, borrow some electrnoics from your friend, like a portable DVD player, iPod, Nintendo or Sony portable game system,

or just sleep.

Check low price stores (Target, Walmart) they sometimes sell games for long road trips, your two cousins could join you. They need not be puzzles, a lot of them are designed to start interesting conversations. (This might also help take your mind off of the car sickness.) Also, check with parents to see if they can you buy you medicine that people use for seasickness, I hear this also helps a lot for carsickness. Check with your friends to see if anyone would be willing to loan you a portable cd or dvd player, maybe you could even convince them to let you borrow an ipod!

God Bless you. As a fellow car sickean I feel for you. Without electronics this will not be a pleasant ride. I suggest you begin using a motion sickness medication at least 24 hours before before you leave. Bring a book to read, one about DisneyWorld where you can look up many times and not loose your place.

Well, I am 13 years old also and have driven to Florida with my 10 year old brother 3 times. When we went, we had a DVD player in the car and we could hook our PlayStation up to it. Is there any way you could persuade your parents to buy you a DVD player? If not, then I would take some books, and a music player of some sort.
