What is the best resort hotel at Walt Disney World to watch the fireworks? |
What is the best resort hotel at Walt Disney World to watch the fireworks? For the Magic Kingdom I like watching it from the Transportation Ticket Center the Ferry Boat station area left of the monorails. prob contemperary if you get the right side... I prefer Boardwalk. There is a ton of stuff to do there and you are right on the water. Depends which fireworks you want to see. Polynesian or the Contemporary for the Magic Kingdom's Wishes. For the Magic Kingdom, it's the Grand Floridian - you can watch from the pier down near the pool and the view is amazing. The Contempoarary is the best. Other then great rooms to watch them from, they also have two places to watch WISHES from, the california grill dims their lights and plays the music for it and also on the fourth floor (where all of the food is) if you go to the oppostie side of the floor from Chef Mickey's, they have a platform there to watch it from with dimmed lights and the music. Its the best. Standing on the beach at the Polynesian is perfect for watching the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom. If you're lucky, you can even grab one of the hammocks. Ok, Im local and we just took our kids to do this a few nights ago!! Polynesian Hotel, by far, sit on the beach on a hammock or lounge chair... you will get to see the Magic Kingdom Fireworks and the Electric Boat Parade all within the same time frame on many nights, just find out the schedules and go relax on the beach at Polynesian. There is a swimming pool and water fountain feature for the kids to play in while you wait for the shows to start and its not very crowded! Well, I know that at the top of the Contemporary Hotel, there is a restaurant (the California Grill?) and it has the most amazing view of the fireworks at The Magic Kingdom. People used to go up there just to watch the fireworks, but it got too crowded. So now you can only watch them from up there if you have dinner reservations there. |
