Any suggestions for a trip to MILAN?

I and my friends are planning a trip to Italy. One of the cities we'll be visiting is Milan (only for two days). We'll arrive on Dec 23 (Sunday) evening and stay there until Dec 25 afternoon (Tuesday). Can anyone tell me the best tourist hot spot in Milan? It's quite difficult since most places close on Monday and in Christmas... Thanks!

Don't go, Milan sucks. You should spend time in the big 3: Florence, Rome, and Venice. These are the places to see, Milan is terrible, dirty, and expensive.

buy shoes!!!!!!!!lol

shoes. the prada ship is in a really cool old shopping centre. eat lardo. check out the north rail station (i think it's north...) for bonkers fascist architecture.

Go to il Duomo, in the city-center. It is an amazing church. I went to Milan for the day when I had a long layover there, and it was amazing. Make sure you see this church, I have never seen anything like it. Be sure to grab some pizza there !

Ciao all shops are open on the 23rd and 24th because of the Christmas gifts.
On the 25th it will be very nice to go to the Duomo and also to the Mess inside the Cathedral.
Merry Christmas!
ciao

The Milan Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Milano) and the area aound it can certainly keep you busy for 2 days. The Cathedral is worth a serious visit - take your camera. Then all aound the outside you find shopping - the Rinascente Department store, Virgin Records has a store there (with a pizza place inside). About a half mile away - a long stroll - you'll find a castel! The Sforzesco Castel this too is worth a visit.

Hello my name is Franco, my suggestion to you is stay around the Duomo, you got shops, art, food ,and people.
That will be you best bet since you are there for such short time, Good luck and happy Holidays. www.yamuca.com

You will find shops in the downtown open because of the christmas presents.

You shoul visit the Duomo (in Piazza del Duomo), its an amazing church, anyway all the downtown of Milan is full of shops (you can find everything).
Some shops are really expensive but there are others that are cheaper, so are the bars.

I'll suggest you to not go around the city at night alone (if you are in group is better, and even better if there are boys) unfortunately Milan is pretty dangerous at night, there are a lot of immigrants.

But it's a beautiful city, enjoy it!

I'm Italian and I live in Milan (in Italian Milano). I think it's a fantastic city, you must stay here more than 2 days....
Although I think you must visit the centre of the city... It's very famous
if you have any question you can send me an
e-mail...

p.s. if you want to do some shopping you can find lots of fantastic shops near the Duomo like Rinascente.

Can i come with you guys!!!!!!?????
