Will the water in Hollywood, Florida be cold in early march????

Wait a minute, here... People who are answering this question have obviously never been to South Florida. Destin is about 500 miles northwest of Hollywood. Geez!

The water in any pool will be heated any quite nice.

The water in the ocean can be hit or miss... it all depends on the way the wind is blowing. I have been in the water in March and it has been 82 and I have seen it in the low 70's. If the wind is blowing out of the north or northeast, the water can get chilly. When it is blowing up from the south or southeast, it can be tropically warm even in March.

This winter has been very warm in South Florida. I have been in the ocean several times. More importantly, however, is your perspective. If you come from the north, sometimes the beach water never gets above 75 even in the summer. In this case you will find the water beautiful here in March regardless. Come and enjoy!

i went to destin florida last april and the water was VERY cold.

Yes, you can swim almost year round! There are a few days that are to cool to go swimming, but not many. Have a great day!

its collldd right now. it really just depends because right now its been a pretty cold winter in florida but usually its not tooo bad in march

no it's not cold. it's very swimmable. it's all relative, but compared to the west coast or the north east, it's warm.

No florida is very warm all year long!

it all depends on how south you travel..... generally its in the 70s so its okay if you dont mind it a little cooler than usual

It will be a little cool, however it will be hot enough outside that it will feel good.
