Four College Girls Going to Florida for the first time for spring break, please help!? |
We're all 22, and not sure where to go.... We keep hearing south beach, miami but it might be a little cray for our taste?? we like going out but not that much, we're not heavy drinkers, partiers. We want to go somewhere nice but with good nightlife too, somewhere where we can relax and enjoy ourselves. Where would you suggest?? Please Help! Wherever you decide to go...you can't really go wrong. I've been to Daytona Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, South Beach, the keys, Cocoa Beach, Pensacola Beach and Panama City Beach and all the places are good in their own way. This year some friends and I have decided to go back to Daytona once again...Overall, I think it's the best Spring Break spot My Neighbors house..... When I went we relaxed during the day, then partied all night..... Key West. Clearwater is a nice area and maybe Daytona Beach, alot of spring breakers go to Panama City Beach as well - Have fun! Tampa/ St Pete and Orlando . Plenty of fun things to do there without a lot of drinking. Fort Lauderdale is a good alternative to Miami Beach. The crowd is different, clubs are not as expensive, and it鈥檚 a lot more laid back. You can hang out at Las Olas I know you said you aren't in to partying that much, but maybe instead of the beach New Orleans would be fun. The weather should not be miserable that time of year. I go just about every year. I love it. My favorite is really the daytime. Walking The Quarters, steet performers, the market, shops, outdoor shopping, and awesome foods. The history of it all is so amazing. Plus, there are the coolest tours you can choose from. Theres lots of ways to make the trip inexpensive to. I'm sure you've heard of the night life there. It can be a lttle overwhelming. But, even walking around Boubon street is a blast even if you don't drink just watching all the VERY bizzare people. I think you guys would have a great time. If you need more info, or suggestions just let me know. South Beach is great check out the Delano hotel http://www.123world.com/miami/miami-luxu... and http://miami.nyctourist.com/miami-luxury... Good Luck! I would suggest you visit Coconut Grove and the area around the University of Miami.I am an attorney who lives in Jupiter Florida and have lived in Coconut Grove. Other suggestions I have are that you might want to visit Palm Beach County were I currently live. If you would like to have the contact me my e-mail address is attyroemer and@yahoo.com. if you're in the area I might be able to begin with you for a drink. I'm sure you will have an enjoyable trip. Well the Aventura mall is the biggest in florida and the 6 biggest in the US |
