Why does it seem like the vast majority of people in Miami are shallow?

Why does it seem like the vast majority of people in Miami are shallow?

People who live in over glamorized, materialistic environments tend to adapt such a persona themselves. I think the problem with Miami people being shallow may stem form the petty, glamorous, beach vacation city itself.

because they are

The majority of people EVERYWHERE are shallow.
