Is the Westchester neighborhood that noisy? |
Is Westchester always noisy? Would it be hard to sleep at night and hear the planes? PS: I blocked the main top contributor for his sarcastic and somewhat rude remarkable answers on my past questions. I heard that they are going to start implementing a new landing plan at LAX where planes glide in, so soon the noise will be even less of a concern in the area than it is currently. I found it kinda noisy. If you go there or pass through there then yes it will be noisy..But when you live there you wont even hear the jets unless your listening for them..Like anything you get used to it..I live next to a freeway and I never hear the cars zoom on bye..People have lived in Westchester and worked there for many years so I think you will be fine. I work at lax and go to the Westchester area alot. Westchester is a very nice area and most all of the homes under the flight area is gone now. So the noise is very minimal. I have friends that live just north of Manchester and do not hear the planes at all. So...YES it is a good place to live and you can sleep at night. I would answer but i have to wait for the 9:16 pm 747 from hong kong to finish flying over so i can concentrate on a better answer. |
