Hollywood and Highland Center parking?

On the website it says that parking is $2.00 for up to 4 hours with validation. What do they mean by validation? What if I don't get my ticket validated?

Validated means you have to buy something at Hollywood and Highland and the shop or restaurant will stamp your parking ticket. If you don't get it stamped then it costs a lot more money to park there, I think its $1 for every 20 minutes up to $10.

All you have to do is go buy a soda at the pretzel place and they will stamp it for you.

Its just $2 it won't break your bank. Or just take the metro there.
